 | Did you know Paintball and Air Soft Games are extreme sports which are rapidly displacing snowboarding as the #3 most popular alternative sports activity in the U.S.A.? Corporations, Companies, their families and children want to do something special. What they really want is an exciting Paintball Party. These folks are not alone with their fascination with this engrossing, fast-paced game. During a game, small paintballs fly through the air making adrenaline skyrocket. There is constant action, as player’s streak by. The intense excitement heightens the senses. Paintball is a kind of glorified game of capture-the-flag. Once played by groups of middle-aged men in fatigues, the sport has become popular for children’s birthday parties, youth groups, corporate team-building outings, tactical training for law-enforcement, swat teams, friends and families looking for fun and exercise. Corporate America is accelerating the trend. Products are now highly accessible, combined with the pro shops that specialize in equipment which is available for sale or rent has brought this sport available to everyone. Good for Body, Mind and Soul, paintball is pure entertainment! The sport is enjoyed by a growing number of youth and church groups, who play to encourage teamwork and togetherness. It helps build character because you are not only supporting your teammates, they are also supporting you. Paintball games appeal to your sense of adventure and excitement, but it is closely supervised. It also lends itself to strong camaraderie. This is an inclusive game, which can be enjoyed by people of all ages and physical ability. The main attraction is that it’s an adrenaline rush sport that allows anyone to play, from 8 – 80 years young. With Paintball you can have a 12 year old compete with his 40year-old father and do it successfully. Doctors, who specialize in psychology say sports like Airsoft/Paintball, allow people to expend pent up energy while providing them with a needed release for stress. People have been playing cops and robbers for as long as anyone can remember. Airsoft/Paintball games are the current version. These games provide more exercise than sitting home playing video games and watching television. It has the lowest percentage of injuries (the worst being a sprained joint or sore muscles). The big plus, it is an activity the whole family can enjoy! The Game: Paintball is a team sport played by two to twenty players opposing one another on a prescribed field. The game is played like a game of tag, using tactics of “offense & defense”. Just as with other sports, paintball can be played indoors or outdoors in any weather. Each player has a paintball-marker (gun) that expels paintballs and players tag one another with a bright water soluble, environmentally safe (even edible) paint mark when the paintball breaks on them, thereby eliminating each other from a game. The Equipment: Paintball marker (paintball gun), Full Face Mask, Barrel Plug or Condom, Hopper (plastic container that mounts atop the paintball marker which contains paintballs), air tank that is used to propel the paintballs. This is usually attached to the rear of the paintball marker. Entry Fees: Entry fee for the outside fields is only $5.00 per person. If you wish to play on the inside speedball court with blow-up bunkers the cost is $8.00 per person. This fee allows you to play all day any day we are open. Rental Equipment Fee: For only $5. You get the paintball marker (gun), full face mask, barrel cover, hopper and unlimited air. No paint included. Paint: House Paint ONLY, no outside paint, sorry. You may purchase paint by the case, which is a total of 2000 rounds (4 bags of 500 balls), or you may purchase paint by the bag of 500. Paint Costs: A case of 2000 rounds runs $39.95 and up. Waiver: All Partipants must sign a liability release form; anyone under age 18 must have Parents sign a medical-permission slip as well. Closed Monday & Tuesday: September 1st – May 31st Closed Monday Only: June 1st – August 31st Wednesday – Fridays: Open Noon – 8 pm Saturdays: Open 10:30 am – 8 pm Sunday: Open 1pm – 7 pm Special Monthly Events: 3rd Saturday of each month we host Air Soft & Paintball Night Games. For an entry fee of $5.00come play all day. Air Soft Games from 10:30 am until approximately 3pm, then stay over & play Paintball Night Games, under lights until approximately midnight or later! Closed Holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.
